Alsalamu Alaikum,Today we had a great day alhamdulilah!
Reading: Students sat on the carpet and I read If I Built a Car for the third time.
- Please complete the Story Response Log (Your child will retell If I Built a Car)
Spelling: Students read the new list words and put them in sentences. They filled in the missing letters to complete the list words in their spelling books.
Math: We sat on the carpet and explored different 3-D shapes. Students completed a worksheet identifying 2-D and 3-D shapes.
- Draw three 2-D figures and write the number of corners and sides each figure has.
- Students cut out and pasted pictures in the correct place after reading the directions (positional words).
Social Studies: Students finished their group project on Communities.
Reminders:
- Please make sure you have your child pray with you at home.
- Homework pack (due on Tuesday)
- Read a story a day.
- Students have a spelling quiz on Monday. Don't forget to use Spelling City!
- Today students took their school pictures.
