Today we had a great day alhamdulilah!
Circle Time: Students sat in a small groups and shared some of the special things they did in the winter break with their classmates. We read a story and made connections.
Library: Students went to the library and checked out some books. Tr. Nancy has asked me to make sure the students return all their books as some of the books that were given to the students to complete their animal projects were from the public library.
Gym: We had some warming up exercise and played a tag game.
Social Studies: Students sat on the carpet and we talked about what a community is. Students talked about their parents' jobs and how they contribute to the community.
Math: Students started a new unit on 2D and 3D shapes. Please sign page 120 and complete the home connection portion on page 121.
Reminders:
- Pray Maghrib and Isha.
- Read a story.
- Do not bring a snack tomorrow. I will be giving all the students a snack Insha Allah. They still need to bring a lunch Insha Allah.
- The students will be going on a field trip to the library this Wednesday Insha Allah. All the parents have already filled up the forms no need to do it again. If you are interested in Volunteering please let me know.
- This Friday will be the first hot lunch day if your child registered they will be provided pizza this week.
