Today we had a wonderful day alhamdulilah!
Spelling/ Writing: Students wrote their spelling quiz. They stated working on unit 26 "Blends with r".pages 105-107
Library: Tr.Nancy read Sort It Out and she talked to the students about how to choose information.
Gym: Warm up and started to get ready to play FAST. We had to end class a bit early to review some of the gym rules which are been broken.
Science: Students sat on the carpet and we watered the plants for our experiment. We looked at both plants and talked about some of the differences between the plant that is getting sunlight and the one that is in the dark. Students went back to their places and they drew both plants (after one week) in their booklets.
Math: Counting and grouping by 10's, 5's and 2's. page 229. Today's lesson was easy but it could get complicated when circling too many items, please go over the lesson with your child. I have made and extra copy and attached it to some of the students workbook if it was too messy please help them complete it at home.
Home connection: Your child is learning to count groups of objects in different ways. Ask your child to show you two different ways to count the number of eyes of all the members of your family( count by 1's or 2's.Reminders:

Read a story.
Do an act of kindness at home to share with the class tomorrow.
The new milk order schedule will start tomorrow inshaa Allah.
