I hope and pray that all of you are doing well, In shaa Allah. Today we had a wonderful day alhamdulilah!

Writing:   Students are working on a book " All about me". 

Math:  We started our new Unit on Addition and Subtraction.  Please sign page 80 and do page 83 if it is not complete. Do the home connection portion at home.

The best reciters for the month of October are Omar, Layan and Youness.  Masha Allah and keep up the great work. 

Reminders:

*   Field trip form was sent home, please sign and return it as soon as possible.  

* Students will need to bring their public library card to take books home if you have not returned the form I sent home please do so as soon as possible.

*  weekly homework is due on Monday.

Islamic Studies:  We talked about Hijrah path from mecca to Medina and we decided to collaboratively imitate it.
Worked on our workbooks and practiced the Shahada.

Math:  students worked on a graphing worksheet.
- I sent the passwords for tenmarks Alhamdulillah.Look inside the red folder. If you did not have a chance to complete the homework do not worry I will extend the due date till Wednesday October 22nd. 

Spelling:  wrote a sentence using the list words. page 32.

- The letter "meem and kaaf.
- They learned how to write from right to left, and the shapes of the letters,in the begining, midle, end.

- They are learning new words and their meanings, and how to read simple sentences.

- They will have quiz next Wednesday October 22nd, 2014 Inshaallah.

Social studies:  students drew pictures of them being safe, respectful and responsible at school.

Non-Arabic: Alhamdulilah the students finished two lessons.

Eid mubarak

Insha Allah all of you are enjoying your holidays.

  Insha Allah we will having a class party some time next week  to celebrate eid with all of our friends.  I will keep you posted and I'll send details on the day and what type of items to bring as we have students with food allergies.
