Classwork and Homework

Alsalamu Alaikum,

Today we had a great day alhamdulilah!

Writing: Students reviewed the proper usage of the words "a and an" and completed a worksheet as a class.

Reading: Sr. Madlien read The Curious Garden. She gave the students a worksheet about the story and we did it as a class.

Math: Math book page 124. Students make their own tower by cutting shapes and pasting shapes.

Home connection: Have your child created an imaginary creature by taping together 3-D solids you collected( Party hats, cans, toilet tissue rolls, and so on).

Social Studies: Students learned the meaning of different symbols. They matched symbols to their meanings and coloured them.

Islamic Studies: We talked about Prophet Mohammed (SAW) and some of his good manners and did a worksheet we also sang a nasheed ..

Reminders:

-Please make sure your child prays every day.
-Students have a spelling quiz on Monday. Don't forget to use Spelling City (test # 12)
-If you have stories about Prophet Mohammed (SAW), please send them with your child.
-Weekly homework is due on Tuesday.
