Writing: Students wrote adjectives that described themselves.
Math: pages 128 and 129 2_D shapes. students made pictures using 2-D shapes.Home: connection:
-Your child is learning about figures, such as triangles, circles, squares and rectangles. Have your child point out these figures.
-Help your child find 2-D figures-triangles, squares, rectangles and circles- in your home and draw them on a sheet of paper.
Islamic Studies: page 19. Students completed the Prophets(p) family tree.
Reading Log: I read " The Curious Garden" to the students today please make sure that your child tells you the story today and you can scribe for them. They must return the reading log tomorrow. I want to remind you that you must not go to the library and take out the book or use the internet to refresh their memory. The purpose of this log is to keep track of their listening skill and recollection. It is perfectly fine if they forget some of the details.
Reminders: If you have not sent the Art supplies (canvas and pantyhose), please make sure your child has them next week inshaa Allah.
