We've had a wonderful week alhamdulillah!
Islamic Studies:
Students had a test on Wudu. Masha Allah they did very well. Thier Islamic workbook will be sent home and you may see what were the steps they need to work on page 42.
Next week we will be focused on Salah. Please practice at home.
Math: We finished the unit on Measurement. We are now working on Addition and subtraction we have worked on pages 51-53. Please practice at home.
Spelling: Students will have a spelling test Tuesday, Dec 15th Insha Allah.
The words are: van zoo you queen zip very
-please make sure that when you practice with your child they print neat.
-words will not be given in the order
Please use spelling city to practice for the spelling test #9.

Reading: Students took a blue folder home with which have dolch words. Have them read the words marked once every day.
-Do not forget to use raz kids at home.
Science: We are wrapping up the unit on living things a project will be sent home soon insha Allah.
Writing: We are practising making simple sentences and sounding out words.
Health: We are learning all about the food groups and healthy eating. All students need to bring the fruit they were assigned on Monday December 7th. We will be making fruit rockets insha Allah. If we have any left over fruit it will be turned in to fruit salad insha Allah.
Quran: students have started learning surah ash-rah
French: Students are learning a song.

* If you are interested in ordering form scholastic please send your orders on Monday Dec 21st insha Allah.
* December 17th the school will be having a spirit day.
* T1hank you to all the parents for sending fruits last week. The students had a wonderful time cutting up fruit for their fruit rockets as well as the fruit salad.

*Students need a pair of splash guard pants. They are getting very dirty during recess time.
* I am making a reading closet for the students and need some donations I need a colourful curtain and any cushions that you no longer need. If you have any of these items please let me know.
