Today we had a great day alhamdulilah!
Writing: Students wrote sentences in their writing notebooks about what TRUE FRIENDS ARE NOT.Students were encouraged to use adjectives from "Cookies" (True friends are not greedy,unfair...etc)
Students took a worksheet about adjectives. They looked at pictures and put adjectives in sentences to describe the pictures.
Math: Math book pages 88 and 89. Please practice with your child as some students had a hard time with this concept.
We used fruit loops to explain. Eg. How many more yellow fruit loops are there than purple? How many less purple fruit loops are there than orange etc.....
-use the picture to ask questions or get different material from home.
Islamic studies: We are still working on prayer. We stared to review the Tashahud please practice with your child.
Reminder:
- Sign the hot lunch form if you like your child to participate.
- Mitten clips were sent home today.
- Lunch tomorrow please send something from the meat and alternatives and a picture of that food group.
