Alsalamu Alaikum,Today we had a wonderful day alhamdulilah!
Reading: Students sat in their groups and practiced their reading. Some students read " We Eat Through the Week".
Science: We completed our Science worksheet about living and non-living things. Students learned about the importance of respecting living things and how living things help each other..
Health: We talked about how to stay healthy. Students looked at Canada's Food Guide. We learned about food groups. Students are to bring a snack from the food from the fruits and vegetables group and their lunch as usual Insha Allah. I also need them to bring a picture from that food group please.
Islamic Studies: We talked about salah and what Allah tells us about being pure when praying. We practiced were to place our arms, the place to focus when standing during prayer and how to make rukuh. Please practice at home these steps.
Reminders: Read a story with your child. I also would like you to read the flash cards you have been making as those words are use frequently.
