Alsalamu Alaikum,
Today we had a wonderful day alhamdulilah!
Reading: Sr. Madlein read us "Down to the Sea with Mr. Magee". She also gave the students a worksheet where students wrote rhyming words from the story.
Writing: Students wrote sentences about True Friends. Students were encouraged to use adjectives from the book "Cookies".. loyal, generous, compassionate..etc
Math: Math book pages 86 and 87.

Home connection: page 86- Share story problems using objects at home. For example: "6 stuffed animals are playing in the bedroom. 5 more came to play. Now there are 11."
page 87- Have your child tell you an addition story that is different from the stories on this page.
Science: Students learned about different ways to help the environment. We looked at a picture and describe the different ways people were helping the environment.

Reminder: Please make sure that your child cuts and makes the book in the homework pack. The students were given their hot lunch form today, please return it by December 12th.
-Students are being asked to bring a snack from the milk and alternatives food group and a picture from that food group as well. Thank you for those who sent pictures today.
