Alsalamu Alaikum,
Today we had a wonderful day alhamdulilah!
Writing: Students wrote about their favorite place using the 5w's. Masha Allah I had some wonderful pieces of writings. Particularly love two students who wrote about the mosque and One about Jennah.
-please work on perfection your child hand writing some of the students need some imporvement.
Spelling: Students filled in the missing letters to complete list words. They completed sentences and did some proofreading. Please complete page 92-93 with them at home.
-use spelling city to review past work
Math: Math book pages 219 and 220.
-do hands on activities with your child you may practice telling time or do other activities you have done in the home connection pages.
-What shapes they see around and tell their attributes.
Islamic Studies: Sit with your child and tell them stories about the prophet Mohamed(p), the character he had and so on.
Science: practice conserving energy and ask your child what types of energy they are using to keep them refreshed.
Today some of the students joined the 1a and 2b class and watched a movie and ate some great treats.
