Alsslamu Alaikum,Today we had a wonderful day alhamdulilah!
Computer: Today was the first day of our computer class. I showed students how to log on and log off and rules for the class. If you have any educational websites that you think the students will enjoy please do send them and I will take a look and try to incorporate them into my lessons.
Math: We played a game where students matched clocks to the correct digital times. Students completed a worksheet about 2D figures and line of symmetry.
Islamic Studies: Students sat and shared some of the acts of kindness they did last night. I read a story about the importance of being kind to animals.
Gym: Students warmed up and played dodge ball.
Special request: The class has to do the morning assemble this Tuesday.
If you have your child memorize this poem they will be taking part in the morning assemble Insha Allah.
My Parents are Pretending
I'm pretty sure my parents are
pretending they are sick.
I know because I taught them both
to do that little trick.
You blow your nose and hold your head
and claim your brain is breaking.
And so, a pro like me would know
my folks are clearly faking.
A little thing I learned in school
convinced me I am right.
My parents are supposed to meet
my principal tonight.
