Reading: Let your child read as much possible from the booklet given in the weekend homework package. Even if they can only read a sentence or two.
I want them to get use to reading on their own. We will be doing a lot more reading exercises in class.
Math: Since they did not bring their math book home yesterday I assigned the same homework for today. You will noticed that we started to work on page 25 but did not finish it, please do not complete it at home we will do this together in class on Monday, although you may help your child understand the concept using counters Insha allah.
Writing: letter n both sides
Islamic Studies: Practice making wudu, iquama and prayer as I need more boys to lead the class in salah.
Weekly homework: Try to complete it for this weekend.
Remember that the class has a spelling test Monday October 7th. I will expect neat printing as we have been practicing how to use the line spacing in our workbooks. Spelling test books will be sent home to be sign and are to be returned the following day. Students are to write any incorrect words three times.
