The Scholastic Book Fair is this week (Wednesday, October 30 and Friday, November 1st). As with previous book fairs, all library visits will be cancelled starting Tuesday, October 29. In addition, it is important to make sure that the book fair flyers go home no later than tomorrow/today Monday, October 28, 2013.

Math: page 42 home connection. Starting today I will be posting the home connection section rather than have the students carry their book home. If you would like your child to bring their math book home instead please send me and e-mail or note. The only time you will see the math book is if they have not completed their class work.
Home connection: Invite your child to share thoughts about working with numbers in this unit. Also ask;" What have you learned? What do you want to practise?"
Science: students are to find pictures of living and non living things. you can find them in magazines, news papers, ect.....
Qur'an: the students are learning surah Al-Alaq ayas 1-5
