Math : We measured the area of different objects around the class using different units of measurement, page 197-198. Please complete the home connection portion.
Writing: Students are still working on the book they will be publishing insha Allah.
Social studies: Students started to do their oral presentations. Tomorrow Yusuf, Ahmed and Layan will be doing their oral presentations please make sure to practice.
Reading: Do not forget to ask your child about "My Fathers Dragon". Chapter three must be returned with the homework package. I will be sending the readers log tomorrow Insha Allah.

- during this week the school well be promoting waste free lunches. Please make sure you place your child 's lunch in containers as much as possible. most of the students brought their items in plastic container masha Allah keep up the good work.
- Please start collecting news papers. I need all of you to help please.
- Plastic Bottle Cap Competition
- we are having a competition between all classrooms (JK-Grade 10) to see who can recycle the most plastic bottle caps! We will be collecting them until the end of the year and inshallah will use them to create a school collaborative art project!
