School is out

  I realize that some of you paid for your child's book unfortunately I did not receive them yet,  as soon as I get them I will let you know and mail them to you.  I have not forgotten about them.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Tomorrow we have an early dismissal

 

 

Tomorrow will be the last day of school Insha Allah and the students will have an early dismissal. All students should be picked up at lunch time 12:00- 12:30. 

Last few day of School

   I hope your enjoying  your break from homework.

First of all thank you parents for the boxes you brought. I got a lot done today Al-Hamdulillah.  I finished almost all the boxes and need still need more.  Today the students brought home a lot of the work they did through out the year.  Please keep it at home as I will be sending more tomorrow Insha Allah.  I want to make sure they take all their belongings tomorrow. 
 Please send your child with two plastic bags as I will like them to take things out of their locker if any.

End of the school year celebration

Al-Hamdulillah we have finished yet another school year.

The end of the year celebration was a big hit.  Jazakum muAllah khierin to all you parents, I would not be able to do it with out your help.  All the students were awesome Masha Allah.

Enjoy your weekend you all deserve it after working so hard.   Hope to see all the students well rested on Monday.

Todays' Nature Walk

Aslam Alikum,

Today we had a wonderful and interesting day we did lots Masha Allah,  one of the thing we accomplished today was to go for our nature stroll and we went looking for rocks for our art class.   The students did not come back so clean sorry about that but we had so much fun it was worth it. They will all need a good shower today and clean clothes for tomorrows "End of the year presentation". 
Make sure they practice the play and get a good night sleep for tomorrow.  I also want to remind you that tomorrow will be a half day.

Last hot lunch tomorrow

Tomorrow will be our last hot lunch day for the year due to early dismissal on Friday.

Don't forget to practice the poem with  your child.  They need to have it memorized by Friday Insha Allah kheir.

One parent brought me two boxes which was great Masha Allah but still need LOTS more.  I need all the help that I can get.

End of the year presentation/Reminders

End of the year presentation

Every student has been given a part.  Ask you child which part they are doing and have them practice in front of you.  They have to have it memorized by this Friday Insha Allah.  Each one of them took their copy home and may keep it at home. I have other copies for them to use at school.

My School I really like my school, and just want to say, That's where I spend, most of my day. Countless activities, I get to do. For arts and crafts, I always use glue. During math class, I learn to add and subtract. ten times ten equals one hundred, that's an absolute fact. One of my favorite classes, is fun and called gym. I can nearly touch, that basketball rim. I also enjoy learning, difficult words to spell. My ears are programmed, for that school bell. I really like my school, and just want to say, I'm always excited, for the very next day.

End This school year, has come to an end. Say goodbye to each, teacher and friend. You've clearly done, a lot of work. Summer vacation, is your reward or perk. Just remember, to continue to read. That will help, your brain cells feed. During the summer, you'll get to relax. Play outside, and eat healthy snacks. Remember to show, your parents your grades. Just be honest, don't hide behind shades. Your school year, has reached its end. Enjoy your summer, I recommend.

Other reminders

• On Friday the students will be going home early.  All the students must be picked up by 12:15 the latest.
• Thursday is the school's last hot lunch. 
• Several form have been sent home.  Please make sure you look inside your child's black bag. 
• I need you help in collecting boxes.  I need to pack many school items and need everyone's co-operation in collecting boxes.

Spelling test

Tomorrow is our last spelling test.

Math page 57 please complete the home connection.

If you have any school library books Tr. Nancy is asking students return them, I  need any also class library books return.

I am in need of small packing boxes if any of you have small packing boxes or come across any please bring them to school. I have to finish my packing as you know.  At this time I only need boxes once the time approaches and I must have all my class packed I will be asking some parents to please help me with any packing that if not complete.

P.D Day tomorrow

  

Tomorrow there is a P.D Day don't forget.

All the students  have been give a copy of a play " The Three Little Pigs".  Please practice with them they all know what they need to do.  Some students are reading and others are just acting.  If your child is an actor please help them with the actions and make them very dramatic Insha Allah.  If your child is a reader please make sure that they read their part nice and loud and with confidence.  We will be doing the play on Wednesday therefore they need to be prepare Insha Allah.

Bake Sale on Monday Insha Allah.

BBQ Saturday.

Swimming Tomorrow

  The class will be going swimming tomorrow Insha Allah.  I enough volunteers to make it easy Insha Allah.  Please make sure that your child is wearing their swimming clothes under their uniform.

I gave all the students their last homework today.  I still have their homework folder I did not finish correcting everyone's homework  I should be sending them tomorrow. 

Remember that if you have any bread you do not want or need send it to school tomorrow we will be feeding the birds.

No homework for today/ volunteers needed

Enjoy the weather with your child.  Take a walk or read with them.

Tomorrow I will be sending home the last homework for the year  Insha Allah.






As for the swimming, one parent has expressed how he would like to help Insha Allah but I still need one more parent please.  If you are interested and are able to help please let me know by tomorrow.  I will inform everyone tomorrow if we will be going or not......

I noticed the students love feeding the sea gulls today.  If you have any extra bread that you no longer want send it to school on Thursday Insha Allah,  I will be taking the students for a nature walk and feed the birds as well.

Toonie Tuesday/Homework

Tomorrow is the schools last Toonie Tuesday  Insha Allah.  This is the last chance for your child to wear anything they would like all they need to do is bring $2.00 Insha Allah.  Please remember the only thing they can not wear are items which have faces on it.

Homework
Math: page 46 and complete page 47.
Spelling: test tomorrow remember that I will be testing them on all the given words
Read:  read daily with your child

This week the students have swimming at 1:05pm, but I have not hear from any parent concerning volunteering.
