As-salamu-alaikum wa Rahmatullah

Dear Parents,

I hope and pray that all of you are doing well, In shaa Allah. We had a wonderful day alhamdulilah!

Today We had a wonderful day alhamdulillah!

Writing:  students had a chance to write in their journals about the field trip to midway.

Islamic Studies:  Student talked about what Allah(swt) created.  

Math:  students review the attributes of a pattern and made their own patterns using diferent colors.

Library:  students had a chance to go to the gym and take out a book.

Reminders:

* Students took home another field trip from please sign it and return it to school.  I will need 5 volunteers for this trip insha Allah.

*I have noticed that some students are coming late to class, please make sure that your child is in class by 8:20am. It is essential that your child arrives to school on time. We start our day with a morning assemble where we reading quran, hadith of the month and important reminders. 

* From time time we have students who forget to bring in their lunch bags and need a snack.  I would like to have have a "snack bank" that we can keep in our class in case of emergency.   If you like to help you may send in cereal bars, cheese crackers, juice, cereal or any other non perishable snacks.

Classwork and Homework

Alsalamu Alaikum,

Today we had a great day alhamdulilah!


Reading:  I read to the students "Assalamu Alaikum".

Gym: Students were placed in to different groups and they got a chance to work in different team building exercises, this will help them with their coordination Insha Allah and prepared them for other games. 

Spelling:  students are working on their printing.  They have worked on pages 5 and 6. If they have not completed their work please make sure that they are completed before Monday.


Reminder:

- Please make sure you sign your child's agenda on a daily basis. 

-  I have sent the math and spelling workbooks home for the weekend.  Please wrap them in self-adhesive plastic you can find it at Dollarama, you will need two rolls.  I have shown the students what it looks like so they may help you find it at the store.

- Milk form was sent home today.  Please return it as soon as possible, due date is September 30th. 

-  Please send any food fliers you have around the house we need them for health.

Classwork and Homework

Today we had a wonderful day alhamdulillah!!

Math:    we have started to work on sorting and patterning.  Please take a look at your child's' math book we worked on page 3 and 4.
Don't forget to send it to school tomorrow.

Reminders:

Please send any donations for the Embrace Syria Campaign, for those of you have donated already thank you so much for your generous donations.  Our class is almost at their goal masha Allah. 

Hajj workshop tomorrow

 I hope and pray that all of you are doing well, Insha Allah.

Today we had a wonderful day alhamdulillah!!

Reminders:  
Tomorrow is the Hajj work shop Insha Allah.

   It is a regular school day but, we ask that the boys bring an Ihram to wear on top of their uniform,the girls can bring an abaja and a hijab. 
The boys will put on the Ihram  prior to going to the workshop will be taking place in the gym. 

My first week back at school!

I am so pleased to have your child in my class this year.

If you did not have a chance to buy the school supplies please do so this weekend we will be needing them. 

I do apologize in advance to those parents that are waiting for me to send them the class policy letter.  If you would like to have a soft copy of the letter please send me your e-mail and I will be more than happy to send it to you.
